College rejections

I got rejected from UCLA. This sucks. It's like getting kicked in the balls repeatedly over and over and over again. I hate this. Why does this stuff have to happen to me? Oh well. Life goes on.

Swimming

Well, I didn't make CCS like I was hoping. I got a 23.42, .43 seconds away from the 22.99 needed to qualify. Oh well, at least I'm not like Cole, who was off by .04 seconds in his 100 free. I guess I'll be working hard in and out of practice until I do make it. I also failed in my 100 butterfly since I was slower than Vivian. Oh well. At least my favoritest person came to watch. =]

Optimism...

I like beef. Beef is my friend. If I had a plate of beef bigger than my head, I would eat it. If I couldn't finish it, I'd save it for the next day. I can't believe hindu's and vegetarians don't like beef; they have no idea what they're missing.

Wheeee so I went to Gamestop today and found out what a Wii was. Yeah, I'm slow, but whatever. I tried playing Super Smash Bros. Brawl, which I totally suck at, but that's a good thing because it means I won't waste my time on useless drivel like that. Still, I want to go to Shizuka's house to play on her Wii and maybe beat her in something so I can brag in her face. Oh, and my friend let me drive his really shitty car, which was fun. I got to remember what it was like to have a vehicle that didn't accelerate...

Over the weekend, I rediscovered the greatest game in the world: The Incredible Machine. I played it for the entire weekend and got to like the 140th level, but then stopped.

And tomorrow is our first home swimmeet, which is good because we get to show off to the whole school how completely awesome we are. I have never actually participated in an athletic event on campus, so that'll be something new.

I'm totally stoked for the school's water polo season next year. Even though I'm not going to be participating, I have complete confidence that Mike and Stefan will dominate the field and demolish 90% of the teams they play.

Life is goooooood. YAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!

Pessimism...

Swim meet tomorrow...if I don't make CCS in the 50 free I will be very sad. I'm kind of sick too, which dampens my chances further. =[

I choked on water when swimming butterfly in practice today, so I'm not looking forward to the 100 fly...

On a completely unrelated topic, I like eating. A lot. I eat a lot more than I used to. I guess I'm going to get fat when I'm in college. Maybe wrestling has gotten me to appreciate food more. I'm about 165 now, up from 155 at the beginning of the year, and I highly doubt that any of that is muscle...

College acceptances are looming around the corner, and I don't really care. If I get rejected from everywhere, I can always go to West Valley and play water polo and save some $100,000. I could also get a job at a Carls Jr. or Blockbuster and earn minimum wage while living in my mom's basement. If I get accepted, then I have to travel aaallll the way to the college I want to go to and adapt to a completely different lifestyle...

Second semester senior year is even busier than first semester. There's still homework, and swimming starts early, so there's no time for anything afterschool. Also, all the cool people at school aren't second semester seniors, so they don't have as much time to hang out on weekends as I do. =[

I wish I was better at water polo. I used to have potential, but because I went to a non-polo oriented school, I suck now. Maybe I should've gone to a better polo school...but whatever. If I was better I might've been able to get recruited somewhere.

Oh well. Life goes on...

Something

Happy Shizuka? =P
