Summer so far...

So this summer has been full of joy, disappointment, and apathy. I'll start with apathy first.

Apathy (stuff I don't care about): Well I go to water polo practice and it's pretty mundane for the most part. I'm just used to having a schedule in my day, and doing water polo helps. I practiced with the college guys some, and they're pretty good. I'm sure I won't play in college. Oh, and I code some for my dad, which is cool.

Disappointment (stuff that pisses me off): Mostly movies that I've seen recently. The only 2008 movie I've seen this summer that I liked was Kung Fu Panda. Indiana Jones 4, Wall-E, and The Dark Knight SUCKED!!! Indy 4 was just stupid. I have no idea why some people liked it. It wasn't fun at all. Wall-E had a good 2/3rds, but the last third completely kiled it for me. It was really dumb, especially with those fat people rolling around. It needed to have a darker ending too. But I'm especially puzzled about The Dark Knight; everyone seems to think it was a masterpiece of some sort. It wasn't even a good movie!!! The plot was really rushed and jumbled, and parts of it didn't make any sense. It had some good performances, but overall it was a huge mess. I guess I'll try watching it again, but I have to say I was extremely disappointed.

Joy (stuff that I liked): Well, those movie disappointments were almost completely balanced out the fight between Fedor Emelianenko and Tim Sylvia. For those who are not educated in the MMA world, Tim Sylvia is the former UFC heavyweight champion, ranked number 3 in the world. Fedor is ranked like 6th in the world, but is considered by many to be the world's best. If Fedor won the fight, he would be considered the top fighter in the world by pretty much everyone. Not only did Fedor win, he won in 36 SECONDS!!! And this is a fight that was scheduled to be 5 rounds!!! That was the most amazing thing I had ever witnessed. Oh, and my AP scores were pretty good. Although I got a 4 in Mechanics, I got a 5 on E/M!!! And I got a 5 in everything else, although that was kind of expected.

But the thing I've liked about the summer the MOST was all the moments where I hung out with my girlfriend =P. Those were amazing, and I will never forget this summer because of her.

Ok, bye.
